First attempt to draw Padre Pío, done in 1:30 hours with HB and B pencils, originally it was a sketch for a bigger drawing I was planning but I liked the sketch.
Scanner is no good for pencil drawings so I took a picture with a digital camera. I had a reference pic wich you can found easily in google.

Padre Pío (1887-196

was a franciscan capuchin priest who had the stigmata for 50 years, now he is St. Pio, and his life was simply amazing.

hi Bass. more contrast is a good crit. I'd also suggest that in getting your drawing digital you not clip off the top of St.Pio's head and work a bit more on the left side so that you don't have such an abrupt line/edge. very nice effort overall
