Anti-Religion? that is like killing your spirit and living just for the body.
The religion.. hmm maybe that word isnt the right one, let's call it the faith in a superior being (call him GOD, JESUS, etc. etc.) is what gives you strong in ur life.
If you deny him, He will deny you. Straighten your path before its too late.
Just a little advice, don't take it personal. remember that in the end of the day each person do whathever he wants to do... (Unless God doesn't want it to be that way)

Dude, listen to yourself. Did you really say "remember that in the end of the day each person do whathever we wants to do... (Unless God doesn't want it to be that way)"? Make up your mind, does man have free will or not? If God decided what peopledo based on what he wants, he must love to see grown men have sex with little boys, because that is what so many of his 'helpers' are doing. Also, would he allow Vin Deisel to make all these movies if he had any say in what goes on in the world?

Bass: I give it a +5, for the following reasons:
1. It was a very good attempt. Good color, OK form, and close to the original.
2. No one else is drawing Our Lord
3. All people submit on this board is "sex/nudity" or cladly dressed women
4. Your art is contrary to everyone elses: demons, devils, vampires and fallen angels.
5. Your not the best artist, but with practise, you'll be drawing some amazing pieces with hopefully the same religious theme. I congradulate you on your efforts. Keep up the great work! And no matter what the rest of these atheists may say, keep the faith... God bless!

As far as your artwork, +3. I cannot comment on your faith. I think you could work a little more on this image. Look intently at the reference, turn it upside down if you have to. Don't be swayed by what you think you see...see what's really there.

As for the subject matter Jesus is a great motive wether people are religous or not everyone can identify with him. I vote a 3 , only because if you ARE religous as you say you are you would have spent a lot more time on this piece.. To me it looks like this was thrown together ... (it needs work) i am being honest on this without trying to hurt your feelings -- as for me if i were going to create a piece on jesus i would not post it until i knew that it was of very high standards.

As for religon -- I am religous , but i don't think it is right to force ones ideals on to another, (free will) if a person wants god in there life they will have god -- even if they don't want god -- they will have god --

But of course this is a very subjective subject so i will just stop there but that is my opinion.

Bass, I wouldn't let anyone distract you. Although I'm not biased at judging something whether it's religious/athiest/whatever else, I would like to say that I'm glad you posted your attempt on here and I would like to see you keep on trying your best and posting some more religious themed art on GFX. Some of the greatest art work was religious-inspired, so keep it up.
